New Patients
New Patients at Ron S. White, DDS
When you call to book an appointment with Ron S. White, DDS, we’ll get your insurance information so that we can verify your coverage for you ahead of time. We ask that you bring your ID, insurance card, a list of all medications you’re currently taking, and any information you might need to help you complete your health history form.
If you’ve had dental X-rays in the past twelve months, you may bring them with you. We may still need to take our own X-rays if we see that significant change has occurred.
Your First Visit
When you arrive, our friendly team will greet you and help you with any paperwork or insurance questions you may have. We won’t keep you waiting, but you are welcome to enjoy some coffee, tea, or water while you complete your forms. We also have a kids’ area, where the little ones can play while they wait for their turn in the chair.
Then you’ll go back to an exam room with one of our dentists, who will conduct a thorough examination. This will include an in-depth review of your medical history, intraoral photos, a cancer screening, and X-rays.
We’ll explain everything we find, and show you your photos and X-rays on the TV so you can see in detail what’s going on with your oral health. We’ll talk with you about what needs to be done and help you prioritize treatment if there are multiple issues. Based on this examination, we’ll then schedule appropriate treatments such as cleanings, fillings, or other services.
